A quiet moment with a honey bee
By Madan

The morning was still, with just a faint breeze carrying the scent of damp earth. I had been crouched low for a while, waiting, when this honey bee landed on a small white flower right in front of me.

It was completely absorbed in its work, moving slowly, almost lazily, as if the sun had made it drowsy too.

I could hear the soft hum of its wings, and every now and then it would pause, as if checking to see if I was still there.

I barely breathed. There’s something calming about watching a bee forage — no rush, no agenda, just the quiet rhythm of the day. That moment reminded me that sometimes the best photos come from simply being still and letting nature come to you.
